Galerie Gisela Capitain is pleased to announce its fifth solo exhibition with the American artist, filmmaker and writer, Sam Samore. The show features the second installment of Samore’s new trilogy: Accumulation of Shapes, which consists of three separate groups of pictures, wherein each group is devoted to one female protagonist – a new conceptual approach in the work of the artist.
Accumulation of Shapes (Part One)

Team (gallery, inc.) is pleased to announce a solo exhibition of new works by American photographer Sam Samore. Entitled Accumulation of Shapes (Part One), the exhibition will run from 23 November through 21 December 2014. Team is located at 83 Grand Street, between Wooster and Greene. Concurrently, our 47 Wooster Street space will host Traffic Jam, an exhibition by German artist Andreas Schulze.

Long considered one of the pioneers of large-scale conceptual photography in the 1980’s, Samore is well known for his earlier series of photographic work such as Allegories of Beauty (Incomplete) and Situations.

D’Amelio Terras is pleased to present our first solo show with artist Sam Samore who, working since the late 80s, is one of the pioneers of large scale conceptual photography. While in the past few years Samore has been widely shown primarily in European museums and institutions, this is his first major solo gallery exhibition in the United States since 2001.
The Suicidist

This is the first exhibition by Sam Samore in Europe that combines two series of photographs: The Suicidist from 1973 and The Suicidist (continued) from 2003-. Currently both series are shown at the P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center in New York (curated by Bob Nickas; until 29 January).

P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center is pleased to present Sam Samore’s first solo museum exhibition in the United States. Comprising two photography series shown together for the first time—The Suicidist produced in 1973 and the recent The Suicidist (continued)—the bodies of work parallel one another in theme: the artist in various post-suicide situations. Sam Samore: The Suicidist is on view in the Second Floor Mini-Kunsthalle gallery from October 29, 2006 through January 29, 2007.
